Company History
| 1951 | Founded in Sakurai, Nara Prefecture, by the predecessor Yoshiharu Takeda as a sole proprietorship. Started manufacturing and selling bran edges. |

| March. 2002 | Obtained a patent for interior materials using bamboo and its manufacturing method. Patent No. 4493822. |
| May. 2002 | Started manufacturing and selling bamboo bran rim “Yamato” and “Ire”. |
| August. 2003 | Started supplying bamboo sill slides “Shikishima” to major housing manufacturers. |
| October. 2003 | Reorganized into a joint-stock company. The company name is “Takemoku Co., Ltd.” |
| July. 2004 | Exhibited a bamboo Kamoi shoji set for the Good Design Award, and passed the first selection. |
| December. 2004 | Started sales of Japan’s first bamboo composite flooring “Bamboo Kobo”. |
| March. 2005 | Bamboo flooring is provided for the Asahi Broadcasting System affiliate program “Great Remodeling!! |
| May. 2005 | Supplied bamboo materials for the Aichi World Exposition “Aichi-Chichi Expo” to make information boards in the venue. |
| July. 2005 | Started developing and selling new products with Sumitomo Forestry. Since then, Sumitomo Forestry, Sekisui Heim, Panahome, and many others have delivered bamboo interior materials and building materials to many exhibition halls. |
